Description:In honor of the late Barbara Jordan, the Harvey Milk Society and the Gender and Sexuality Center present ally training. Learn about the LGBTQ community, the issues its members face and how you can be of support. Become the A(lly) in LGBTQA.

One of the lesser-known facts about Barbara Jordan is that she had a woman partner. Highlighting this aspect of her life through an ally training not only raises awareness about a purposely hidden aspect of Jordan's life, but does so in a way that shows support for the LGBTQ community. As a main pillar of Jordan's life was to fight for minority populations, we strive to honor her work as an advocate by training more advocates.
