The Study Abroad Scholarship seeks to encourage undergraduate students to engage in academically relevant study abroad programs and helps ease the financial burden of paying for such programs. Deadline is March 23.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must be participating in a study abroad program in accordance with their degree plan(s). Applicants must be available for an interview after the scholarship deadline and recipients will be expected to attend one of Senate's General Assembly meetings upon their return to discuss their experience abroad with the assembly. Current internal Senate members are ineligible to receive the scholarship. University-wide appointments, college council members and agency members are eligible to apply for the scholarship as long as they do not hold internal Senate membership.
