| Description: | John Milner, Ph.D., presents a talk titled, "Nutrition, Cancer, and YOU." Milner is the chief of the Nutritional Science Research Group in the Division of Cancer Prevention of the National Cancer Institute. A reception follows the talk.
Milner's research examines the critical intersection of cancer prevention, diet and genetics. In his current position at the National Cancer Institute, he promotes research that deals with the physiological importance of dietary bioactive compounds as modifiers of cancer risk and tumor behavior.
Milner is the Jean Andrews centennial visiting professor in the Department of Nutritional Sciences. |
