Description:The Performance as Public Practice Program presents a talk by Visiting Professor Patricia Ybarra titled "Building La Casa Rosa: Performance and Neoliberalism in Contemporary Greater Mexico."

Ybarra is associate professor of Theatre Arts & Performance Studies at Brown University.
She is working on a book on Latino theater under neoliberalism and is co-editing an anthology titled "Theater and Neoliberalism: Performance Permutations." Her scholarly research includes theater historiography, Mexican theater and performance, Latino/a theater and performance, avant-garde theater, critical race studies, dramaturgy and directing.
