| Description: | Eric Bowles, UTeach academic adviser, hosts the third workshop in the Leadership Series, on the subject of diversity.
Our university prides itself on representing a community full of diverse backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. In the globalized society of today, leaders around the world must embrace such diversity in order to bridge differences and incite global harmony. Learn the value of diversity within groups, as well as how to incorporate differing perspectives to strengthen personal identity and character and ultimately reach an agreeable outcome.
The Leadership Series Workshops are designed to develop individual student leaders and provide resources for growth and change for student organizations. Workshops are held twice a month. This is an initiative of LEI, under GLIE and the Office of the Dean of Students. |
