| Description: | Volunteers ages 11-14 are sought for a focus groups on in-school food and beverage marketing. Participants must read and write English and will be reimbursed for their time. Email the Prevention Research Lab at preventionresearchlab@gmail.com or call 512-471-4792 and ask for the "In-School Marketing Study."
This research is being conducted under the direction of Dr. Keryn Pasch, assistant professor of health education in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education at The University of Texas at Austin. The information found in the study will be used to create programs to help kids understand how advertising influences their behavior and programs to reduce youth obesity. |
