Adriana Ruíz Razura, Universidad de Guadalajara, presents a talk on Mexican revolutionary leader Vicente Guerrero. Using original documents, she portrays Guerrero as a noble and honorable man. She also discusses historical depictions of Guerrero that, over time, reflect attempts to "whiten" his image and negate his black and indigenous origins.
