Shape-note singing is one of America's oldest musical traditions, made unique by its participatory, amateur-driven nature and striking, rough-hewn harmonies. This singing school consists of an hour on the practice and history of the shape-note tradition and Sacred Harp singing, followed by an hour of singing from "The Sacred Harp" (Cooper revision). Tunebooks provided.
