September 18, 2012
Time:7-9 p.m.
Description:Racism is alive and well, even in our supposedly post-racial America. As the Fisher case threatens affirmative action at the national level, attacks with bleach-filled balloons, racial and homophobic slurs, and "ghetto" themed Greek-life parties are some of the most recent manifestations of racism. Attend a student panel on overt and institutional oppression to learn how you can support UT before the Fisher v. University of Texas affirmative action case goes to trial.
