Description:Only 32 percent of eligible voters in Texas participated in the 2010 election. Many ask, "why bother?" "Why Bother? Engaging Texans in Democracy Today," a news and public dialogue series, investigates the range of causes for voter apathy in Texas, exploring new forms of engagement and what can be done to inspire more people to get involved in the democratic process.
