Stanley Lombardo reads Virgil's "Fall of Troy"
University of Kansas classics professor Stanley Lombardo presents a dramatic reading of "The Fall of Troy" from Book II of Virgil's Aeneid. Lombardo is known for his translations of the Iliad, the Odyssey and the Aeneid. He has been giving dramatic readings of his translations on campuses throughout the country, as well as at the Smithsonian Institution, the Chicago Poetry Center, on National Public Radio and national television.
