| Description: | The Humanities Institute presents a panel titled Surveillance, Space and the Public, with Dr. Simone Browne (UT Sociology); Micha Cárdenas (scholar, artist, activist); and Ernesto Yerena (artist, activist). Together, they examine historical and contemporary modes of surveillance, art as a form of critical engagement and the use of creative engagement with surveillance tactics to form community.
The panel will be followed by small group discussion of these and other issues raised during the presentations. |
