Description:	The American Studies Film Series hosts a free screening of Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini's 2003 film "American Splendor," a humorous look at everyday life and the ever-illusory American Dream. American Studies doctoral student Andrew Friedenthal introduces the film with a brief talk on the place of comic books in our culture.
