Description:In "Experiencias de Resistencia ante la Pérdida," May-ek Querales Mendoza discusses the preliminary findings of her ethnographic project examining the complex everyday life experiences of women and men from the Valle de Juarez, Chihuahua, who migrated during the 2008-2012 period to El Paso, Texas, as a way to cope with multiple forms of violence in the border region.
