Description:Dr. Fred McGhee,a historical archaeologist, green builder and author of the recently published "Two Texas Race Riots," contextualizes the story of Elisha Marshall Pease within broader Texas and U.S. history. Pease came to Texas from the north in search of a better life and played a pivotal role in the social, political and economic development of the Lone Star State.
