Description:Attend a meeting of Student Action for Refugees to learn about projects supporting refugees in the Austin area. We work in conjunction with Refugee Services of Texas to help Iraqi, Bhutanese, Burmese, Cuban, Eritrean, Somali and other immigrants acclimate to life in the United States. Opportunities available to speak Spanish, Arabic and more (we are in particular need of Spanish speakers). All are welcome.
