Description:The documentary film "Returning Souls" by Hu Tai-Li is presented with a performance by violinist Cho-Liang Lin of music by Shih-Hui Chen. Forty years ago, a typhoon destroyed the Amis ancestral house in Tafalong, Taiwan. Attempting to revitalize their traditions, the tribal villagers reclaimed the remains of the house where their ancestors resided. A 4:30 p.m. reception precedes the screening.
