Description:The UT Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Gerhardt Zimmermann present a centennial performance of Igor Stravinsky's indomitable masterpiece ballet, "The Rite of Spring." The concert then takes a turn for the dramatic, featuring music from Richard Wagner's monumental Ring Cycle with the Prelude to "Siegfried" and excerpts from "Gotterdammerung."
