Please visit the new UT Events Calendar to submit an event. Instructions on how to submit an event to the new UT Events Calendar can be found on the University Communications website.

Events may still be submitted automatically to the new UT Events Calendar through a standards-compliant RSS or iCal feed. Please consult the UT Events Calendar Documentation for more information.

Current recipients of the Know Events email newsletter will continue to receive events listings once the transition has been made.

Description:In recognition of the Moody Foundation's historic endowment, The University of Texas and the Moody College of Communication host a public reception and ceremony.

In October the Moody Foundation announced a $50 million commitment to establish the Moody College of Communication. The gift results in the largest endowment for the study of communication at any public university in the nation, and among the largest ever awarded by the Moody Foundation.

Ross Moody, a UT Austin alumnus and foundation trustee, will speak during the ceremony, along with UT President Bill Powers and Dean Roderick P. Hart; they will also be available for additional comments or interview requests. Contact Laura Byerley, 512-471-2182.
