Description:"A Handshake in Thought" announces its opening reception. Join the Design Science Collaboration as it explores the relationship between art and science via an exhibition of recent works by DSC members. "A Handshake in Thought" illustrates how design and science mutually inform each other by examining a basic social gesture, the handshake, on social, aesthetic, anatomical and molecular levels. Design and science students alike explore the theme through a wide range of media including video, printmaking, sculpture and microscopy.
