Description:The Red Flag(s) sculpture, a thought-provoking installation in the Savanna Meadow at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, is on exhibit until Feb. 27. The piece by local artists Bill Ivey and Bob Taylor consists of 200 salvaged steel and stained cedar posts that resemble flags from afar, such as atop the center's San Antonio Tower. Visitors can also walk among the flags that symbolize our attitude to the natural environment, with everyone staking "their" claim. The red color of the flag also signifies a need for alarm. Ivey and Taylor are from the Austin-based artist team L_M_N_L.

The Red Flag(s) exhibit is on display during regular hours at the Wildflower Center, which is closed on Mondays. Bring the whole family to this incredible exhibit.
