Description:"The Scarlet Letter: A Workshop Performance" is the culmination of a five-week collaboration between grads and undergrads, actors and designers. This adaptation of Hawthorne's classic takes the heart of the novel and reimagines it for the stage. The play is slated for production this November.

Is it possible for an individual to live freely in a strict society? In Hester Prynne, we confront the challenges of living and loving under Puritanism. "The Scarlet Letter" is a story of romance, revenge and mystery where secrets are made manifest.
