Description:Grupo Flor y Canto offers Flamenco for Beginners: Sevillanas. All levels welcome. Pre-register via email: grupoflorycanto@yahoo.com. Choreography includes basic footwork, sevillana step, pasada, triplets and vueltas.

Sevillanas is a couples' dance for either a man and a woman or two women. Originally relegated to specific types of occasions, today the sevillana is danced at any form of get-together, whether a festival, a wedding or a family party. Sevillanas are accompanied by the use of palmas or rhythmic clapping.
