Description:
Visiting artist Matthew Monteith presents lecture
Matthew Monteith uses photography to investigate the enclosures, both literal and figurative, in which we live, work and play. By closely looking at these spaces - museums, hospitals, classrooms and even automobiles - Monteith reveals both the isolation and fantasy of their inhabitants.

Monteith is a visiting assistant professor of photography at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
