Description:"Designing Games That Matter: Deconstruction, Design Interventions, and Virtual World-building" is a talk by George Royer, doctoral student in the School of Information. Royer is co-founder of the game studio White Whale Games, whose first title, "God of Blades," was released in 2012 to wide critical acclaim.

Royer's areas of interest include archives, digital media and the history of information.
