| Time: | 6:30-8 p.m. |
| Description: | LIGHT | NIGHT, the culminating event of the 16-month UT Safe Cycling Campaign, is a cross-disciplinary effort among a School of Architecture graduate student, design students in the Department of Art and Art History and performers and costume designers from the Department of Theatre and Dance.
LIGHT | NIGHT aims raises awareness about nighttime bike safety with an exciting choreographed dance performance. During the performance, lights will illuminate the movement of dancers, and as day turns to night, those dancers will only be visible by the lights on their bodies - a poetic reminder to the campus community of the importance of being lit at night.
As part of the event, the UT Safe Cycling Campaign will distribute 270 free bike lights to university students, faculty and staff with a valid ID. |
