Description:The Humanities Institute's lecture series on the theme of Public & Private presents a talk by cultural studies scholar Ann Cvetkovich titled "The Secret Life of Counterarchive: Queer Artists and their Archives." Cvetkovich focuses on the current state of LGBTQ archives and their use by artists to create counterarchives and interventions in public history. A discussion follows.
