American Romance program presented by University Orchestra
Bassist Elizabeth Lehr joins the UT University Orchestra in a performance of composer and UT alumnus Peter Askim's "Islands: Concerto for Double Bass and String Orchestra." Leonard Bernstein's effervescent and witty "Overture from Candide" and Howard Hanson's lush and sensuous "Symphony No. 2, 'Romantic'" round out the program.
