Description:The Graduate Committee for the Study of Religion proudly presents its first graduate conference in religious studies, "Beyond Binaries: Toward a Continuum Model of Religious Normativity." Dr. David Brakke's keynote is titled "Beyond Orthodoxy vs. Heresy - But Not Totally: Alternative Visions of Early Christianity." A reception follows the address.

Brakke is the Joe R. Engle Chair in the History of Christianity at the Ohio State University.
