November 24, 2013
Time:2-4 p.m.
Description:In conjunction with the exhibition "Radical Transformation: Magnum Photos into the Digital Age," the Magnum Film Series concludes at the Harry Ransom Center with films exploring "Personal Journeys."

In these alternately hilarious, cynical and tender films, two photographers in very different locales point their cameras at their own communities. This screening features Martin Parr's "Think of England" (1999) and Gideon Gold's "Misery Loves Company: The Life and Death of Bruce Gilden" (2006).

Celebrating Magnum's pioneering engagement with motion pictures, as well as the agency's contemporary multimedia projects, this four-part series features films and videos by and about Magnum photographers. Join us on Sundays in November for the series.
