Description:The St. David's Center for Health Promotion Research announces its 2014 conference, Promoting Healthy Communities: Interdisciplinary Perspectives, held April 2, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Dr. Lawrence Green, UC-San Francisco, presents the keynote address.

The conference will feature podium presentations by six individuals renowned for their work in the areas of public health, health disparities and research-interventions. It will also include a poster presentation session featuring research addressing a wide array of health promotion topics.

Abstract deadline for posters is Feb. 10. Registration is required. Continuing education hours available. A limited number of registration scholarships are available for nonprofit community agency staff.
