| Description: | The 2011 Hispanic Leadership Summit announces "Doing Well and Doing Good: Ethical Business Leadership." How can business leaders act with integrity in good economic times as well as downturns? What are our expectations for corporate social responsibility? The summit convenes experts and leaders from across the country to examine the role of the business community in our society.
Opening remarks feature Thomas Gilligan,d ean, McCombs School of Business, and William Powers, Jr., president, University of Texas at Austin. The luncheon keynote speaker is Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. The reception features El Mariachi Paredes de Tejastitlán and a student art exhibit sponsored by the Center for Latin American Visual Studies and the Visual Arts Center. |
