| Description: | The Design Lecture Series welcomes Albert Shum, director of the Windows Phone Design team at Microsoft. Reception starts at 6 p.m.
Shum's team consists of interaction, visual, motion, industrial and brand designers along with user researchers and design program managers working in an open studio. The team collaborates with engineering and business partners to create integrated mobile experiences for consumers.
Prior to Microsoft, Shum led the convergence of sports and technology efforts at Nike, resulting in the digital Nike experience. He has a master's of product design from Stanford University, a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo and is a graduate of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. |
