| Description: | Students and local entrepreneurs are invited to a panel discussion with representatives from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the government agency responsible for administering immigration benefits. Issues at the nexus of immigration law, entrepreneurship and innovation to be discussed.
USCIS will discuss ongoing efforts to streamline existing immigration pathways through its Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) initiative. In addition, USCIS wishes to hear from students and the local entrepreneurial community about their experiences with the current immigration process, as well as ideas to enhance current policies and programs for innovation-driven entrepreneurs. |
