CMAS hosts Américo Paredes Arts and Letters Award
The Center for Mexican American Studies presents the 2012 Américo Paredes Arts and Letters Award to Chicana filmmaker Lourdes Portillo. The program includes a screening of Portillo's film, "La Ofrenda: The Days of the Dead" (1989) and a master-class conversation with Professor Charles Ramirez Berg. A reception follows the program.
