Description:As part of a celebration of the Texas Relays, a community panel discussion focuses on helping students succeed in college. Panelists include Dr. Meria Carstarphen, AISD superintendent; Dr. Michael Lauderdale, professor, School of Social Work; Margo Frasier, special police monitor; Dr. Jamey Harrison, UIL; and Damon Luckett, mentor, UT Athletic Department.

The event is sponsored by the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement, State Senator Kirk Watson, State Representative Dawnna Dukes, Travis County Judge Sam Biscoe and Austin Mayor Pro Tem Sheryl Cole.
