Description:
Honors Day celebrates academic achievement
The 64th annual Honors Day program celebrates students who have achieved academic excellence by honoring them as College Scholars and Distinguished College Scholars. Sharon E. Jarvis delivers the keynote address.

The Honors Day Convocation includes ceremonial elements such as an academic procession, orange and white honors cords worn by students, heraldic banners, inspirational messages and celebratory music.

Keynote speaker Jarvis is associate professor of communication studies in the College of Communication and associate director of the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Participation at The University of Texas at Austin.
