Description:The Public Affairs Association for Communities of Color presents a panel titled "Women of Color: Overcoming Barriers and Taking Center Stage," inspired by the life of the late Barbara Jordan. Lunch provided.

Barbara Jordan's courage and persistence to propel herself onto the political stage despite structural barriers such as gender, socioeconomic status, race and sexual orientation is the inspiration for this event.
