Description:
Food Studies Project presents Dr. Charlotte Herzele
Dr. Charlotte Herzele presents a talk titled "Environmental Consequences of Industrial Agriculture." Refreshments served.

Industrial agriculture has managed to provide enough food for everyone, but not without creating its own set of problems. Is the environmental damage we have caused a threat to food security? Are there more environmentally sound ways of feeding the exploding human population? Herzele gives an overview of these pressing issues.

Herzele teaches NTR 331, International Nutrition: Social and Environmental Policies.
