Description:"The Unbearable Whiteness of Being: Situating Asian Americans" is talk by Dr. Michael Omi, associate professor of ethnic studies and associate director of the Haas Institute for a Fair and Equitable Society at the University of California, Berkeley. Omi serves as associate director of the University of California Center for New Racial Studies, a multi-campus research program. He is the co-author of "Racial Formation in the United States."
