Description:Many voters assume their job is done on Election Day, but citizens need to stay engaged to hold elected leaders accountable. What does it take to get your voice heard in the Texas Legislature? Join us for "Why Bother? Your Legislature, Your Voice" - a discussion with state legislators, community advocates and the public about how to engage your representatives on issues you care about. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Panelists include Representative Larry Gonzales, Texas District 52; Senator Wendy Davis, Texas District 10; and community advocates.
