Description:Dr. Ramzi Kassem, associate professor of law and director of the Immigrant and Non-Citizen Rights Clinic, CUNY Law School, focuses on how the Oscar-nominated film "Zero Dark Thirty" has reignited the controversy about the place of torture in American policy. Kassem explores what the ongoing debate reveals - and obscures - about American counterterrorism efforts and the United States' current legal and moral standing.
