Description:Professionals in a diverse set of fields share their perspectives on the policy and politics of immigration reform in a panel. Discussion will focus on the upcoming bipartisan proposal from the "Gang of Eight," its implications for immigrant families and the nation. Lunch served.

Panelists include Bill Beardall (Transnational Workers Law Clinic), Joshua Trevino (Texas Public Policy Foundation) and Dr. Martha Menchaca (UT School of Anthropology), among other invited guests. Moderated by Dr. Victor Saenz (UT School of Education).
