Monica Muñoz Martínez, CMAS Carlos E. Castañeda postdoctoral fellow in Mexican American studies for the 2012-2014 academic years, presents "Visual Legacies of State Sanctioned Violence in Texas, 1910-Present." The presentation addresses racial and gender violence in the twentieth century, particularly its impact on ethnic Mexican communities in South Texas.
