Get Fit is a 12-week exercise and weight-loss program for UT faculty, staff and spouses administered by the Fitness Institute staff at The University of Texas at Austin. Class offered at 6 a.m., 7 a.m., 12 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Learn more at the link below, and call 512-471-0081 to schedule an initial meeting.  You do not need to be a RecSports member to join.<br /><br />The program involves three workouts and one luncheon seminar each week led by accredited fitness staff and a registered dietitian. The workouts consist of a balanced mix between cardiovascular and resistance training, the goal being to maximize weight loss from fat and improve daily functioning for each participant.]]></description>
