Hot Science - Cool Talks presents "Black Swans and the U.S. Future: Creating Sustainable and Resilient Societies," with Dr. David Orr. A leading environmental philosopher of our time, Orr asks if we can prepare for, absorb and recover from climatic "black swans" - unpredictable disruptions from climate-related ecological change. Pre-lecture fair and teacher workshop begin at 5:45 p.m.
