Description:Dr. Rangaramanujam Kannan of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine presents a seminar titled "Glial Engineering with Dendrimers Aimed Towards Targeted Nanotherapies for Neurodegenerative Diseases."

Kannan will discuss how engineering and reprogramming the microglial response, to achieve targeted attenuation of neuroinflammation, can be a potent therapeutic strategy for cerebral palsy, retinal degeneration and other debilitating neurodegenerative disorders.
