Hot Science - Cool Talks topic is water resources
Hot Science - Cool Talks presents "Last Call at the Oasis: Will There Be Enough Water for the 21st Century?" with Dr. Jay Famiglietti. Famiglietti explores how climate change and population growth affect the way our water is replenished. Pre-lecture fair and teacher workshop begin at 5:45 p.m.

Without water, life cannot exist. Yet our most precious resource faces major threats which are pushing it to the brink of depletion in many regions. Famiglietti explores the question of replenishment for both Texas and California using innovative satellite technology.
