March 5, 2013
Time:10 a.m.-noon
Description:This course provides an overview of the basic tenets of engineering ethics and the ethical obligations of engineers. It offers an approach to resolving ethical problems in which it is not at all clear what the solution is, what the choices are or even what standards apply. It assumes that an engineer's most important asset in resolving an ethical problem is the ability to think creatively about the problem and to generate options.
