Ransom Center conservator gives talk on pastels
The Harry Ransom Center presents a talk by conservator Thea Burns, "Pastel: Materials, Techniques, and Genres." Burns reviews selected works by professional and amateur artists of the 18th to 20th centuries who have used pastel for portraiture, natural science records, impressionist subjects, social commentary and landscape imagery.
